Sorry, that it has been a while since I have posted. Right now we are finishing up the map of the 13 colonies that we started yesterday. I will also be handing out today their chapter writing assignment. The rubric tells how many sentences that each topic needs. The writing assignment will be due on Friday. Another in class will be proof reading it on Thursday. Also tomorrow I will be giving them their review for the test that they will be having on Monday. We will go over it on Friday so that they will have it for the weekend to study from. The review is pasted below.

16. Know who started the colonies in New York and New Jersey.
17. Know who the Pilgrims were.
18. Know what settlement the Dutch started.
19. Know about how the Mason-Dixon line came about and the importance of it.
20. Know who Powhatan was and how his view of settlers changed.
21. Know who James Oglethorpe was and what colony he started.

Today we finally went over the section 1 vote taking study guide as a class. They handed in questions 1-5 from page 70. We will be taking a 5 question quiz tomorrow.

Today Sept. 6th

1. Do Voab. Words found on page 65. They are the blue words that are at the bottom of the page. Due tomorrow Sept. 7th(most likely we will only get this far today)

2. Begin to read section 1 of chapter 3 starting on page 66. Answer the questions on the note taking study guide. Answer questions 1-5 on page 70. You only need to write down the response not the question.

Well it is that time of year again where everyone is excited about the up coming school year. I want to let you know how I use this site.
